Nithra

Nithra

Goddess of magic, knowledge, science, moons, and night, patron of seekers who study the hidden order.

Overview

Nithra is goddess of magic, knowledge, science, the moons, and the night. Wizards, sages, astronomers, teachers, archivists, and dangerous experimenters all seek her favor.

Divine Role

Beral created Nithra to preside over hidden knowledge and the forces that let mortals understand or reshape reality. She governs lunar mystery, eclipses, star patterns, and the boundary between wisdom and obsession.

Her symbol is often a crescent moon embracing a shadowed orb. Many believe she reveals truth only to those willing to sit patiently in darkness.

Clergy and Rites

Nithra's clergy are sages, wizards, scholars, and mystics who combine ritual, study, magical relics, and meditation beneath moonlight. They perform complex ceremonies to seek insight, summon counsel, or align themselves with lunar power.

The Festival of the Moons, held around the autumnal equinox, honors her influence over magic and the world through lunar phases.

Campaign Use

  • Use Nithra when knowledge is powerful, incomplete, or dangerous.
  • Tie her rites to moon phases, eclipses, towers, schools, and forbidden archives.
  • Let her clergy solve mysteries while creating new ethical risks.
